Yolanda Doley Hunter joins the DuMonde Management & Consulting team with nineteen plus years of extensive experience in Senior Living Operations. Her expertise also includes 29 years of social service experience ranging from case management, residential rehabilitation, and individual care. Yolanda's expertise in Senior Living Operations consists of the design and implementation of onboarding and training programs for front-line and executive-level staff. She also provided operational oversight to single and multi-site communities. Mrs. Hunter has successfully developed company-wide policies and procedures, employee training material, and programs. She was instrumental in securing the appropriate ALF licenses for acquired and newly developed senior living communities in multiple states. Additionally, Yolanda has consulted with hospice and home care companies to secure licensing in various states. Particularly, Dumonde Home Care-Atlanta, which has been owned and operated by her husband, Chad, since 2014. She has created resident/client assessment and care-planning processes and tools to comply with multiple state regulations, as well as identifying and monitoring critical metrics for measuring the operational performance of senior living communities and home care agencies.
Along with her husband, Yolanda cared for her mother, Carol, during the last years of her life after surviving Hurricane Katrina. Carol was diagnosed with Dementia and COPD. During these final years, Yolanda had to call on assistance from the Assisted Living Communities, home care, home health, and in the end, hospice to help manage her mother's care. During this time, Yolanda committed to personally impacting the quality of care for all individuals, specifically seniors, for the remainder of her professional career.
Yolanda states, "I'm dedicated to ensuring that any senior living or home care company I support has quality systems and exceptionally trained professionals in place who are capable of providing the highest level of service. Being afforded the opportunity to offer Allied Health certification courses throughout DuMonde Training Centers will allow DuMonde to directly impact Quality Care and Services throughout multiple states."
Administrator/Owner Dumonde Home Care - GA
Mr. Chad Hunter has operated in different capacities of mental health, social services, and assisted living. During the last 20 years, he has worked as a program coordinator for a non-profit residential organization that provided a stable living and working environment to over 200 individuals with mental and physical challenges. As the program coordinator, Mr. Hunter supported clients living independently and residential rehabilitation centers. He also provided support and guidance to host families (families that temporarily care for individuals with developmental disabilities who may not have a family or home to call their own). It was his next job that led him into the Senior Living Industry. Mr. Hunter worked as an Assisted Living and Memory Care Coordinator for one of the largest senior living companies in the industry. Mr. Hunter spent over two years providing one-on-one care to his mother-in-law, diagnosed with Dementia and COPD. It was here where he began to carve a path that would change his life forever. Caring for his mother-in-law, working with seniors, and advocating for them sparked a fire that would lead him on the path to starting his own in-home care agency which he has owned and operated since 2014. He continues to champion the dignity and care of seniors.
